Ajax's 10th Annual Charity Golf TournamentOne of the big events Ajax Paving Industries of Florida, LLC has held for the past ten years is our Annual Charity Golf Tournament, and we are excited to announce that the 2011 tournament was another huge success! The field of 147 participants teed off on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Bobcat Trail Golf & Country Club in North Port. All players battled the Florida heat and tough competition, but in the end Joe DeLaGarza, Mike Upton, John Maul and Ajax’s own Scott Pittman captured the championship for first place. The team of Mickey Cox, Tim Gearheart, Craig Malaney and Harry Velotta finished in second place with third place being awarded to the team of Jon Wyman, Craig Robson, Keith Tanner and Wally Quiq. Additionally, Garrett Fons won the longest drive at hole # 8 and Jake Wyman was closest to the pin at hole # 11. Congratulations to all the winners!
